Application for Membership

There are many ways that young women can now get involved in their local community, learn leadership skills,
and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

So why Job’s Daughters??
  • Job’s Daughters International has been around for 100 years and has helped thousands of young women internationally grow into strong, empowered citizens who care about their communities, invest in their futures, and build strong support networks.

  • With all the pressures that bombard them today, young women need a place which will allow them the opportunity to learn skills that will help in their future career paths, while having fun and building their self-image. Many don’t even realize the skills they are being taught until much later in life!

  • The experiences you have as a member of Job’s Daughters will help you now and for years to come. Our members learn how to work together to plan for and achieve their goals, how to raise money and spend it wisely, how to speak to an audience, the fundamentals of facilitating a meeting and how important community service is to everyone.

  • Most importantly, Job’s Daughters teaches members about friendship and respect for other people and cultures.  Job’s Daughters has over 10,000 members in Canada, Australia, the Philippines, Brazil and the United States. As a member, you have 10,000 sisters around the world.

Open Bethel events

These are events planned specifically for girls who are interested in learning more about Job's Daughters.  They are casual events, usually planned around a fun activity like an ice cream social, miniature golf or a tea party.

These are activities planned for those who are interested in Job's Daughters, as well as members throughout the state.  They are usually planned to happen before a Bethel meeting, but are sometimes open to those who are interested in joining.  These open events would be signified by stating it is an "open meeting" or "open to prospects"

These are events that are scheduled for the members of the Bethel, but are open to our Jobie to-bees or prospective members.  They are usually an event like an open installation of officers, but could be a fun event like going to the zoo, bowling, or a picnic.  Some meetings may also be "open meetings" which are intended to give prospective members a little more of an idea what the organization is all about.
