Daughter HIKE Coordinator 2024-2025Claire D
Bethel 1, Minneapolis Hi everyone, I’m Claire, and I'm very honored to be the Daughter HIKE Coordinator for 2024-25.
Being Daughter HIKE Coordinator is very important to me. I'm excited to fill this position. Because of my experiences, I believe everybody is entitled to have the top quality of life they can get, not just the quality they can afford. Because of that, I think HIKE’s mission is very important. This will allow me to go beyond leadership in JDI, which is very important to me, to leadership in the communities around me, which is a mission very much at the heart of JDI. Currently, I’m Honored Queen for Bethel #1 and a Freshman at Edina High School. I’m on my school’s Forensics Team and Knowledge Bowl Team. I also do circus at Circus Juventas. When I’m not doing that I’m Praetor for my school’s Latin Club, I play trumpet in my school’s band, and I’m in my school’s Computational Linguistics Club. In my spare time; I enjoy reading, baking, and hanging out with my family and friends. I'm thankful for the opportunities JDI has given me. My JDI journey started when I was ten and my friend invited me to join, I haven't looked back. It hasn't always been easy as someone from a non-masonic family, but every step of my journey this wonderful community and my family and friends have supported and guided me. Thank you to everyone. My goal is to help get people excited about HIKE and our work. JDI is great because it focuses on empowering women to be leaders who help and better the world around them. One of the great ways we get to do this is through HIKE. I'm very excited to work with everyone and am looking forward to the year ahead of us. |
